The Criteria for stud dog and or litter advertising is as follows:
Ads can be posted for club members who have had memberships for at least the previous 12 consecutive months. The club strongly recommends that health status from recognized canine health agencies be included in all ads. This would include OFA, Optigen evaluations or the equivalent, for such health factors as hips, elbows, hereditary eye disease, Degenerative Myelopathy and Exercised Induced Collapse. Absence of the status for any of these health factors should give reason for prospective buyers to obtain additional information from the breeder. The publishing of puppy ads does not imply endorsement by CBRCC. The CBRCC reserves the right to refuse to advertise a litter that will knowingly produce an "at risk" pup for congenital defects such as PRA, DM and EIC.
Puppy and Older Dog ads are posted for 4 months. Stud ads are posted for 1 year.
